The Waiting Game • That’s a good start
And so, we begin the next chapter of Achievement a Day, this time under the new auspice of the MultiplayerDad domain and branding and … well, that’s about it. Not much else has changed.
I am less than 12 hours away from the family overseas holiday, and so I’m left scrambling for a variety of ‘other’ gaming achievement sources for the next two weeks. I have my phone, iPad, and Vita, so I suspect that I ‘might’ be OK, but tonight looking for an achievement at 10pm on iOS proved to be challenging. I don’t know why developers haven’t picked up on iOS Game Centre as a great medium to support their games, or perhaps it’s a case of the App Store just needing a better index or searchability, but in any case, I found a few games that should hopefully see me through … the first on which being this strange game that essentially asks you to … well, ‘wait.’
I really only tapped out at the minute-twenty mark because my phone popped up with the ‘low battery’ warning, after a day of heavy phone use I suppose it shouldn’t have been a surprise, but it was enough to get me over the line for the day, and for that I’m grateful.
Let’s see how the rest of the holiday goes!
